Welcome to Words By Alice, a blog that has no particular purpose or motive other than a space where I can write about all of the things I’m interested in. And there are quite a few!
I’m 19 years old and currently studying English Literature at the University of Manchester, whilst spending my breaks from UNI and some weekends at home just outside of Liverpool. My interests are far and wide and include fashion, books, photography, music, veganism and many other things. I also have a cat called Harley who lives at my home in Liverpool who I adore.
I spend most of my spare time reading, binge-watching TV shows, and spending time with my boyfriend, friends and family. I would probably describe myself as an introvert but I’m definitely not shy (at least, I don’t think I am.) I don’t really know what I want to do with my life; maybe something to do with fashion, maybe something to do with books/literature, probably something to do with writing- ideally something that involves all three! But right now I’m really enjoying my English Literature degree and spending the majority of my time reading and discussing books.
This blog is a space for me to write about the things I’m interested in and share photos of and by me. Personal style, book reviews and film photography are all features that are very much apart of my blog. But also expect lots of ramblings too, as I’m known to always write way over any given word count.
I’m also a representative for the campaign Girls Against, which aims to end sexual assault at gigs, and I run a monthly book club for them which you can join here. You can also read other blog posts I’ve written for them here.
If you have any other questions about me or this blog, feel free to send me a message over on my social media or email me; you can find these links over on my contact page.
